Sagging/Heavy Skin

Sagging skin refers to the loss of elasticity and firmness in the skin. This can occur as a natural part of the aging process when the skin's collagen and elastin fibers weaken, causing it to lose its ability to bounce back. Some of our options for treatments include:

  • Botox/Microtox: The technique of using Botox to lift the skin is MicroTox. The Botox is injected in specific area to help tighten sagging skin around the eyes, lips,  lower face, and more.
  • Liquid Face Lift (MD Codes):  These codes help address sagging skin by strategically placing dermal filler in key areas to provide structural support and lift to the face. By targeting specific points on the face, MD Codes can help improve facial contours, restore volume, and lift sagging skin.
  • PDO/ Instalift Threads: PDO threads are absorbable suture material that are used to lift and tighten sagging skin. These threads are inserted into the skin and they stimulate collagen production and provide support to the skin tissue. PDO threads do dissolve, but the new collagen formation helps maintain the lifting and tightening effects, resulting in improved firmness and elasticity.
PDO threads can be used to target various areas of the face and body where sagging skin is a concern, such as the cheeks, jawline, neck, and even the body.
  • Bellafill: Bellafill is composed of polymethylmethacrylate microspheres, the PMMA microspheres provide immediate volume to the skin, while the collagen helps to support and lift sagging skin. Over time, the gel is absorbed by the body, leaving behind those PMMA microspheres that stimulate the production of new collagen. Collagen stimulation can help improve skin elasticity and firmness, leading to a more lifted and rejuvenated appearance.
  • Radiesse: A dermal filler that is commonly used to address sagging skin and loss of volume in the face. It is composed of calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres, which provide immediate volume and stimulates collagen. Collagen will, over time, increase the skins firmness and elasticity.
